Beer is big news in Bruges so you’ll never be too far from sampling a unique brew you won’t find anywhere else. It’s also a great place to explore, soak up the fascinating culture and make unforgettable memories with your friends.
't Brugs Beertje
‘t Brugs Beertje is a special beer tasting house in the centre of Bruges. It has over 300 different Belgian beers – five on draft. It’s such a delight that the Hairy Bikers featured it on one of their programmes. Down a couple with a cheese board, pates or a pasta dish.
Beerwall at 2-be
This snazzy joint offers all things deliciously Belgian from beers to butter biscuits. If you’re feeling daring you can also buy a 3 litre draft beer, one of Belgium’s biggest! The 100ft long Beerwall is also well worth a photo with your selfie-stick.
Ma Rica Rokk
Ma Rica Rokk is on one of the prettiest terraces in Bruge; it’s the ideal spot for Sunday brunch, or simply an afternoon spent indulging in their great selection of world beers and fine wines. It’s famous for its ‘live’ acts and DJs, who will keep the party going for you well into the night.
‘t Poatersgat
This is thought to be the city’s most famous and some say, best bar. In fact, it’s probably the law to visit ‘t Poatersgat when in Bruges. It is hidden in the candlelit cellar of a historic building and we would highly recommend it as a really cosy place to drink beer and use the free Wi-Fi to post your trip photos online.
