Who is the Group Leader?

Answer

The Group Leader is the person making the booking on behalf of the group. The Group Leader will receive a unique code/link and they can provide this to their group. Anyone who uses this code/link will be assigned to that group. They are responsible for making decisions on behalf of the group.

How do I book a trip?

Answer

Just drop us an enquiry and we'll take it from there! Our team will help you choose the best trip, confirm details for your group, and send you a booking link so everyone can secure their spot with a low deposit.

Question 3

Do I get any Group Leader perks?

Answer

Yes! As a Group Leader, you can receive cashback for every traveler in your group. Earned on a trip or event basis - the more people who join, the more you can earn.

Question 4

Are trips open to all students?

Answer

Most trips are open to any (student) group. Some are specific to certain clubs or sports - your account manager will confirm.

What if our group hasn't done a trip before?

Answer

No problem! Whether it's your first group trip or your tenth, we're here to help. Tell us what you're looking for, and we'll guide you every step of the way.

Question 6

Is travel included?

Answer

On some trips, coach is included. On most trips, you arrange your own flights. Exceptions are noted on individual trip pages. We'll advise on the best options when you enquire.

Do I need travel insurance?

Answer

Most trips require travel insurance. Check individual trip pages for details or ask your account manager.

Question 8

Do I have to pay for everyone upfront?

Answer

We offer flexible payment options depending on the trip and destination - whether that's people in the group paying individually or one lead payment from the group organiser. Most trips usually offer the option to secure your place with a smaller deposit, with the remaining balance paid at a later date.

Is there a deposit?

Answer

Yes - most trips require a deposit to secure your places. The balance is paid closer to the trip date.

Question 10

Can my group spread the cost?

Answer

Yes. Each member of your group gets their own payment plan through Kaboodle - they spread the cost over several months independently. For some trips, though, you may have to pay in full.

What happens if someone drops out?

Answer

Contact your account manager as soon as possible. We'll help you find the best option - whether that's a name change, a refund (subject to T&Cs), or holding the place.

Is my money protected?

Answer

Yes. Outgoing is ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents) bonded. Your money is financially protected from the moment you book.

Question 13

What is the Booking Fee for?

Answer

You will find Booking Fees (BF) on all online booking platforms for tickets and festivals. These are not retained by ILOVETOUR but go to cover costs for our booking system provider Kaboodle. These costs include, but are not limited to, running their website, customer service lines, platform development, and staff wages. ILOVETOUR pays an additional fee to keep this cost down for its customers. All BF's are non-refundable under any circumstances.

How do I view my booking?

You can view your booking by using the 'login' button. You can click on the 'my trips' section to access your booking.

Who joins the trip with us?

Answer

For most trips, an Outgoing crew member will be with your group throughout, making sure everyone feels looked after, supported, and has an amazing time. For smaller groups, we'll confirm what's in place when you get in touch.
